| Zell am See is coupled with Kaprun (year round skiing) and Schüttdorf. Both areas being part of the Europa Sport Region is covered by the one lift pass and there is a good bus service provided between the two resorts daily. | Zell makes an attractive base for holidaymakers who like travelling around in summer. Having a car makes it easy to visit numerous other resorts - including Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Bad Gastein-Bad Hofgastein, Wagrain, Schladming and Obertauern.
In the summer you can swim in the lake or use one of the three outdoor swimming pools. There is a ferry across the lake to Thumersbach. For the GOLF enthusiasts there are two 18 hole golf courses located in the valley between Zell and Kaprun. |
